Services and Worship

Worship lies at the heart of the Christian life. It is through finding God in worship that we are transformed as His people.

At St Stephens our services are centred around the Mass (or Holy Communion) where we participate in the saving grace of Our Lord's death on the cross.

Jesus said to them, ‘Very truly, I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.

John 6: 53

It is with a very heavy heart that we have had to take the decision to cease public worship for the time being due to the new national lockdown and a review of our risk assessment.

The church remains open daily from 10am to dusk for private prayer
